![]() ![]() He goes through the portal and arrives on earth but long after he left it. I feel that a lot was left without explanation and right now over the internet there isn't much explaining this game. What happened when he entered the portal?Įdit: I forgot, what about that Radio Antenna at the end what does it mean? Who was he talking to? Why did he say that his wife already saw "that" Earth. Автор сообщения: f0nZPlayed the game, was impressed and really loved. If it does, even if we assume that the last log by the Soviet expedition was in late 1990s and the interplanetary expedition arrives on the planet in 2040s, it should throw the hero far, far away in time, What happened to Aelita? Reunited with the global network, ok.ĭoes the portal back to Earth speed up through time constantly? Why was her breath so laboured at the later stage of the game? If Aelita could breath only CO2, did she poison the planet for her with her own steps? Where could they use so much energy? (It's the planetary scale, after all.) The guy that locked himself in the medicinal station underground, what was he fleeing from?įirst the expedition thought they brought a virus that infected the planet, then they understood that they drained too much energy from it, right? What grabbed the German astronaut? Roots? What was that black whirlwind at the beginning of the game? Why did the hero's comrades left him alone? The fourth flag on the capsule is a leftover from the beta, right? (Three or four crew, it was nice.) In a game with a serious, non-joking tone like this one, having the women look like exaggerated Barbie dolls really took me out of the setting. and not even a warehouse next to the return portal? Not a highway? Or even a guard post? It wouldn't have been too distracting, except some of the flavor text specifically says they designed the colony around access to the two portals.ĮDIT: Oh I wanted to add that I wish you'd found some more realistic models for the women. I mean, the Russians had hundreds of people there, built towns, power stations, numerous research projects. When we do get the reveal that there's two portals and we find the "return" portal, there's no infrastructure around it at all. but then why did they build a dam in the first place? I thought the whole point was that everything was powered by the green fungus. ![]() ![]() (Of course pouring a dam that size with helicopters would take approximately an eternity, but it would be possible.) I doubt the dump trucks could walk along the power lines the way the characters in the game could. How did it get there? There were mountains on every side, we never saw a road built to it, we never saw any aircraft. It kind of came out of nowhere, and had no impact on the rest of the story. Why did the main character mention a couple of times he was getting radiation poisoning? From what? I guess he just assumes anything glowing green is radioactive? But he didn't have a geiger counter on his suit? Pretty unbelievable. ![]()
